Yao-Yang XIE is a master’s student in Obstetrics and Gynecology at The First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University. His research interests focus on reproductive medicine, clinical translational research, and molecular mechanisms related to fertility and reproductive health. He is particularly interested in understanding how cellular, molecular, and clinical factors contribute to reproductive outcomes, and how biomedical data and artificial intelligence can support future research in obstetrics, gynecology, and reproductive medicine. He received undergraduate training in five-year Clinical Medicine at Sun Yat-sen University and has experience in animal models, molecular biology experiments, pathological specimen preparation, and basic statistical analysis.
Undergraduate research training in mouse cerebral ischemia-reperfusion models, mild-hypothermia neuroprotection, aspirin-induced gastric ulcer models, tissue pathology, immunohistochemistry, western blot, co-immunoprecipitation, and SPSS-based data analysis.
