Biography

Dr. De-Jun Fan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (GIE) at the Sixth Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University. He is an expert in advanced endoscopic techniques, including resection, treatment of bleeding, dilation, and dissection for early-stage cancers and submucosal tumors. His research focuses on the intersection of GIE and artificial intelligence (AI), as well as the biological mechanisms underlying colorectal cancer development.
